The Arlington Historical Association serves to enhance, promote and preserve Arlington, the beautiful Greek Revival House (circa 1840s) and Gardens, owned by the City of Birmingham. Through donations and purchases, the Association has created a house museum with furniture and decorative arts of the period. Arlington, the only house museum in the City of Birmingham, is historically significant to the area and attracts visitors from near and far. The Birmingham community enjoys Arlington as an educational center and a place for social and entertainment events.
